A: There is no formal membership to the club, just show up and play some chess. Tournaments require registration, so we can establish first round pairings and prize pools.

Q: I am finding it difficult to use Tornelo to register for the tournament what should I do?

A: You can email the club and we will manually register you. The most likely reason you are finding Tornelo difficult to use is that you haven’t confirmed your profile with them, checkout their online help section to see how to do this.

Q: I am playing in the Rated Thursdays tournament and would like to know who I am paired up against, how do I find this out?

A: Unfortunately we can not finalize pairings until everybody has arrived on site.

Q: I would like to host a chess event how do I do this?

A: This really depends on the type of event you would like to host. Email the club and we will help get you pointed in the right direction.

Q: How do I join the CFC?

A: Go to chess.ca and click the green JOIN button on their main page and follow the instructions from there.
